Pack the cable you actually need

Check the vehicle's power socket and the cable length supplied with the kit. A long trip in a larger car can expose a cable that is too short or crosses the wrong area. Bring the correct charger and a safe way to keep the cable from moving.

Keep the kit repeatable

Store the camera, mount and screen together so the setup does not change every day. If the system moves to a second vehicle or a hotel room, test pairing and power there before relying on it. A battery cradle can help, but it still needs charging and secure placement.

Use the monitor less, not more

A back-seat view is a support for short checks, not a continuous reason to look away from the road. Set the display and camera while parked, leave controls alone while driving and pull over for anything that needs attention.
